Serpentine Summer Party
< Return To Events
Serpentine Summer Party in association with Chanel brought together the worlds of art lovers, hotel magnates, aristocrats along with fashion, music, film, design and art to fete the Serpentine Pavilion, which has this year been designed by Frida Escobedo. The youngest architect to win the commission, and the second solo woman to be selected since Zaha Hadid designed the first pavilion in 2000, Escobedo’s ambition was mirrored in the evening’s co-host Adwoa Aboah.
Celebrities from the world of fashion and art gather for the night of glamour at an exclusive garden and gallery soirée.
Guests enjoyed a delectable dinner of rare-roasted Hereford beef served with wilted greens, fermented chilli, artichoke, and crème fraiche before American composer Nile Rodgers took to the stage to perform, at which point party-goers took their cue to break it down until the wee hours of the morning
