A week couldn’t start any better than an exclusive launch of SS18 collection by Aspinal of London during London Fashion Week to celebrate the forthcoming release of 20th Century Fox’s Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.
This time, Claridge’s ballroom was transformed into the glamour of the 1930s with actual steam blasting out of the carriages and all the guests were invited to sit down in one of its compartment to enjoy champagne and cakes while watching the countryside whiz past outside the windows.
This season collaboration sees existing designs and styles in limited edition colours and textures, along with new pieces; including vanity cases, a luxurious backgammon set, a hatbox and more. Aspinal’s chosen rich and opulent colours for this collection are a perfect combination of classic ivory and soft camel, using the highest quality Italian leathers, with a splash of colour for the elegant scarf range featuring artwork by award-winning textile artist Emma Shipley.
Aspinal’s spring/summer 2018 collection was also on display – celebrating the golden era of elegant travel. Inspired by the understated elegance, romance and style of the bygone era of the Grand European Tour. Stepping back to a time where travel could truly be a luxury experience, Aspinal has created new sizes and styles to really ‘wow’ the jet-setter of today.
As always, the Aspinal LFW presentation attracted great attention of public and media and as Always, was packed with guests eager to see Aspinal’s innovative styles for the new season.
